I had dinner at Gioia today and was very satisfied with the overall experience. The service was quick, and although we had to wait a short moment for our drinks, it was quite busy, so that was completely understandable. The food was absolutely delicious, and the prices were very reasonable. The restaurant itself is on the smaller side, which actually makes it feel more cozy and intimate. The interior design is stunning—everything is beautifully styled and thoughtfully decorated. One small downside was that we initially wanted to order oysters as a starter. Our waiter told us they were out of stock. However, about an hour later, we noticed that the guests sitting next to us were served oysters. That was a bit disappointing, as we were really looking forward to having them. Other than that, everything was fantastic. The mousse au chocolat in particular was incredibly tasty—definitely a highlight of the meal. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone.

We had a great time! The pasta was al-dente, the dressings of the pastas were great, the service was very good and the design of the place is super. The best Italian that I had in Rio

The food did take a little while, but it was definitely worth the wait. Everything we ate there was so good and the drinks were amazing. I didn’t get his name, but the guy who seated us who spoke a few different languages was the best person we met on our entire trip to Brazil. Would definitely recommend and I will be back

Amazing design. By far one of the most beautiful cocktail bars in Rio. Cocktails were decent and expected price in Ipanema/Leblon, about R$50 per cocktail. We ordered some oysters and they were very mid, wouldn't recommend them. The only thing that caught my attention is that the restaurant is fairly new and the waiters and owner (I think) were very stressed with the rain that was about to start. Also, there were many "Love Island" influencers and people using these massive lights taking "professional" photos, so if you are after a very intimate cozy vibe, maybe go somewhere else. I would definitely come back, but hoping that in a few years they are more confident with what they offer, which is great! :)

The service and the food here was great. The restaurant itself is beautiful and I really enjoyed most of the dishes that I tasted. They make a mean cocktail and that’s something that I really respect.

The atmosphere is fantastic! The restaurant is beautifully decorated with paintings on the walls and ceiling, giving it a unique and artistic charm. I really appreciated that the seating area is separated from the street, which makes it peaceful and free from the usual sidewalk disturbance. Service was excellent—the waiter’s attention to detail truly stood out and made the experience even better. Highly recommend!
